WILLEMSTAD — We are delighted to announce that the Curaçao Manufacturers Association (CMA) successfully hosted its historic, first-ever Local Manufacturing Expo on October 18, 2025, at Sambil. This landmark event, which served as a wonderful continuation of Curaçao’s inaugural National Day Dedicated to Local Manufacturers, truly exceeded all expectations.
It was an inspiring day where seventeen (17) of our dedicated member companies stepped forward to proudly showcase their exceptional products—all 100% made right here on the island. We extended an invitation to the entire community to join us, and the response was overwhelming!
Connecting the Community with Local Excellence
Our aim was to create a space for discovery and connection, and we certainly achieved it. Visitors to the Expo had the invaluable opportunity to look beyond the finished product and truly “discover the stories, the craftsmanship, and the people” powering our local industries.
The atmosphere was vibrant throughout the day (11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), with attendees engaging with a diverse range of high-quality, Curaçaoan-made goods. Highlights of the day included:
- Meeting the Innovators: Direct interaction with our local producers, fostering a better understanding of their work.
- Exploring New Products: A firsthand look at the latest innovations driving our manufacturing sector.
- Interactive Demonstrations: Engaging experiences that brought the making process to life.
As CMA President Herbert Luis noted leading up to the event, “This event is a great opportunity to celebrate local talent and creativity. We invite everyone to come, learn more about our local industries, and support Curaçaoan-made products.” This sentiment resonated with everyone present.

The Expo was thoughtfully designed to be an event for the whole family, featuring special activities and engaging live entertainment. Importantly, it also facilitated crucial networking opportunities for businesses, reinforcing the collaborative spirit within our local economy.
